Keep It Simple
Often, a simple left hand playing a quarter note feel is quite enough when accompanying that right hand melody. However, when the situation invites it, a slight modification can add some additional interest and momentum. For example, when the melody is rather inactive, a slight modification to those left hand quarter notes can make for a nice “conversation” between those two hands.
